About Irish Global Lights
The series
Building Ireland's most accessible racing grid
Irish Global Lights is a one-make clubman series: identical 600cc mini LMP-style prototypes on control slicks, racing sprint formats across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.
Every car runs the same chassis, engine and tyres — the spec is locked so the fastest driver wins, not the biggest budget. That keeps costs predictable, the field tight, and the racing about lap craft. In 2025, Cameron Fenton took the overall title after a season decided on track, not in the workshop.

Set the grid
The weekend opens with practice, then a qualifying sprint lines up the field.

Two rounds, one weekend
Every race weekend runs two short sprint races — each a championship round in its own right, wheel-to-wheel from lights to flag.

Spec aero, tyres and drivetrain keep the challenge strictly on driver craft and setup.
